Today

Mostly cloudy and misty today with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, most persistent across the north and east. Drier conditions with brighter sunnier breaks in the southwest will edge slowly northwards during the afternoon. After a largely dry day in the south some showers may develop later in the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees with a light west to southwest breeze.

Tonight

Rain and drizzle will still affect parts of the east and north through the night, while staying drier elsewhere with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 10 degrees, potentially cooler under clearer skies across the south and west. Mist and fog will form in light and variable winds.

Tomorrow

Sunday will start largely dry with sunny spells over the southern half of the country. Ulster and north Connacht will remain mostly cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle lingering through the day. It will become cloudier along southern coasts with outbreaks of rain possible later on. We may see some light showers at times Sunday evening. Highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees, all sunshine dependent with light to moderate east to northeast winds in the south at first, becoming light and variable everywhere for the afternoon and evening.
